Rose Coast Music School offers high quality private music instruction both online and in-person at our West Los Angeles studios.
Whether our students are absolute beginners or budding rockstars, they receive tailored lessons to reach their unique musical goals.

APPROACH
PERSONALIZED LESSONS
We start every student off choosing a song they love and want to learn (and eventually perform at a recital!) We’ll use this song to introduce chords, strumming patterns and techniques in a way that they can easily understand. We’ll help them see how the pieces fit together so they can apply what they’ve learned and take on more challenging material.
SIMPLICTY + STRUCTURE
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
We believe that performing regularly is a key to long-lasting and meaningful musical growth. We host two school-wide recitals where students get the chance to meet and play together as one musical community. It’s always a highlight of the year seeing everyone’s progress and growing confidence.
In each lesson, we combine technique, creative exploration, and playing selected songs in preparation for the recital. Students come away with an understanding of what they can work on in between lessons. We also understand that life happens, so we always meet the student where they’re at. The goal is to foster a joyful relationship with music.

STUDIOS
Students get an in-studio experience where they can feel a sense of belonging outside of school and home. Our fully furnished studios are equipped with guitars, keyboards, and complete drum sets to encourage curiosity and exploration with instruments students might not have access to at home. We find that students build their confidence in these distraction-free spaces dedicated to playful collaboration.

RECITALS
We all get butterflies before going on stage at the beginning of our musical journey! Being a strong musician means learning how to stay focused even when the pressure is on. Our recitals are the perfect opportunity for students to share their hard work and be celebrated by friends and family.
